Come in, come in, pull up a stool! Mind the drunkards, ignore the jewel-encrusted knife stuck into the bar, wave politely at the angry, tattooed giant in the corner.

You find yourself in The Melted Mask, a dimly-lit tavern on the outskirts of Vestal. As you glance around the room, your senses are assaulted by the sights, sounds, smells and–shockingly–tastes from across the continent. Elves armed with slender, curved swords politely sip their foamy drinks in the corner. A couple of bounty hunters eye one another while hovering their hands over respective blasters. Half a dozen tentacles snake out from the hood of a mysterious stranger in back.

A man with his face covered by molded metal beckons you to his table.

“I have the quests, if you have the coin,” he says, the mask seeming to shimmer with each word. “Are you ready?”
